The Blue Tape Crew was founded in Union Square, NYC during the summer of 2006.  One hot as hell summer day in Union Square while selling prints and other artwork a fellow by the name of T-Bone set up shop next to the artist.

Bone was selling sunglasses that he blinged out with metal designs he called them stunner shades!! From this moment on T-Bone, and the rest of the crew sold together most of the summer and since the display would always be set up with Blue Tape T-Bone started calling them"The Blue Tape Crew" and it stuck.

Since the prints and other art work was not selling The Blue Tape Crew decided to make t-shirts with the art work on them and thus the Blue Tape Crew was born and the puplic responded very well to the designs on clothes! 2006 was the beginning of the T-shirts then came hooded sweatshirts for Men and Women and it became a labor of love.

In 2007 bluetapecrew began to put designs on fabric and sew handbags. The making of the Handbags became addictive and stopped people in their tracks when walking by the Blue Tape Crew set up! When someone would stop to look at a Blue Tape Crew handbag they had to have it because of its originality and unique designs of the city mixed with images of technology. The cycle continues and new designs are always being upgraded the same way technology is constantly changing.
